What does a UV roll-to-roll printer print on?
Compatible flexible and semi-rigid roll media — self-adhesive vinyl, banner material, film, and coated or specially prepared substrates. UV inks cure under the lamp, which lets you print onto several materials that heat-sensitive eco-solvent would distort.
How much white ink do I need?
White ink is used for printing on transparent, metallic and dark media, and for backing colour on thin film. If you print a lot of clear labels or window graphics, discuss white-ink circulation and daily maintenance with the team before choosing the configuration.
What should I check about adhesion and curing?
Adhesion depends on the combination of ink, media and curing dose. Send the actual media you intend to use and ask for a sample print, then test scratch resistance, bending and anything that will be laminated or applied to a curved surface.
