Two questions decide the machine

Signage buyers usually start from a printer specification. It is more productive to start from two questions: what is the widest single panel you must produce without a seam, and is the substrate vinyl and banner material or textile?

The first question sets the working width, which is the one specification you cannot work around later. The second selects the process, because decorating vinyl and printing into fabric are different problems.

Eco-solvent roll-to-roll: the signage default

Eco-solvent printers use mild solvent inks that cure by evaporation, and they are the established process for outdoor vinyl, banner and coated media because of their UV and weather durability. Roll-to-roll feeding suits long runs and continuous lengths.

The catalog spans 1800 mm to 3200 mm machines in this range, mostly on I3200-E1 heads, which reflects that signage work is driven by width rather than by head count.

UV roll-to-roll: for fast turnaround and rigid-adjacent work

UV roll-to-roll machines print UV-curable ink onto flexible media with instant curing. The immediate cure is what allows same-day finishing, because the print does not need time to dry before lamination or mounting.

The catalog covers 1800 mm to 3200 mm UV roll-to-roll models on I3200-U1 heads, in two-head and four-head configurations.

Flags and textiles: a different chemistry

Printing flags and textile signage is not the same job as printing vinyl. The catalog splits this into two families: direct textile flag printing, and dye-sublimation for transfer-paper workflows. The distinction matters because the finishing route differs: direct printing fixes ink into the fabric, while sublimation transfers it from paper.

Flag machines in the catalog run from 1250 mm to 2200 mm, and the sublimation range from 1900 mm to 3200 mm, with a choice of two-head and eight-head configurations for different volume levels.

Deciding

Set the width from the largest unseamed panel first, then choose the head count from the daily volume you can sell and finish, and only then choose the ink chemistry from the substrate. A four-head machine in the wrong chemistry is still the wrong machine.

Confirm the finishing side as well: lamination, welding, eyeleting and mounting all have throughput limits, and a printer that outruns them simply moves the bottleneck downstream.
